The English letter for Uruz is U and its number is 2. Uruz is the rune of strength and vitality. It also represents an organic transformation such keeping or creating your body to a healthy and fit personal standard. Having a healthy diet, maintaining some type of exercise, and keeping a safe environment are all good contributing factors. Uruz promotes healing to those in need of it and this rune is good to call upon if strength of any type is needed in ones life. This rune can turn walls into doorways and is also there to use in defense through might and vital power. The danger, however, is defensiveness can be unchecked and lead to its unwise use that can therefore lead to excessive vigilance. This stressful obsession can therefore can make one controlling and over defensive.
